My name Zul, and this site is dedicated as a platform for my freelance work to my colleagues, friends and customers. I have been doing freelancing for almost a year now and on Nov 07 I decided to dedicate an exclusive website to showcase my work. Also, I will be using this space to share interesting stuff, articles and others to you.
A little bit of myself.
I was born in a small town in Malaysia. I graduated from Imperial College of Science, London, United Kingdom and have the past for years have been working in the corporate and private sector. I was an engineer by training but later moved on into the recruitment sector, specializing in the technical and IT recruitment. [Read more about my recruitment experience here]
I founded SKOR Career in late 2005 to provide career guides, tips and insights about the employment market to Malaysians and worldwide readers generally. Today (November 2007), the website receives over 30,000 unique visitors monthly and continues to grow.
The success of SKOR Career has encouraged me to create another website, eKerjaya.com that also discusses about career but in Bahasa Melayu.
My last employment was with Jobstreet.com, the largest online recruitment service in Malaysia. I also write, and my latest e-book, The Malaysian Jobseeker Dilemma, was released early this year.
A year before that, I started a small group discussion in Yahoo Group, the Malaysia Young Entrepreneur Forum (MYEF) a platform for Malaysian entrepreneurs and the wannabes to share ideas and news about the world of entrepreneurship. From a few people, it has grown to over 500 memberships today.
